Does anybody know a good source for the door lock cap? I got one from Amazon that specifically stated it was for an XK and you can see how wrong that was in the pic! It’s now on its way back. I did get a quote from the local Jag dealer but they wanted something like $78+tax (say US$60) with a 6 week delivery time. Seemed a bit over the top. There must be someone with an after market part right! This is for the passenger side on a RHD car.

 

Always start a search with a Part Number where possible:




The genuine article is always supplied in primer and from JLR is 24 UKP here in England but likely to be a premium added in overseas markets.

I bought one from Jag - I think it was under $50 - had a local spray shop paint for around $25
