Default XKR 5.0 Chinese replacement Supercharger snout

My coupler is shot.

I’m tempted buying the complete snout for an eighth the Jaguar price. I can’t be the first nor, probably, the last to give some thought to this. I have a reasonably well equipped workshop, do you think I’ll need it?!

Another question, is the jag snout part no C2D38554 the same as C2D58056? I believe the latter is an upgrade to the former.

Douglas

car is MY2010 XKR 5.0

I certainly don't know why almost every part for Jaguar 5.0 is listed as DOES NOT FIT

There’s aftermarket couplers as well, including a variation from Eaton which’s more durable than the JLR spec. I’d keep the Eaton snout and just change the coupler to solid or different design.

Hmmm, a knockoff. You’re brave.

I would probably opt for the solid replacement isolator.
