Seats aren't to my taste, but the car looks great! Congratulations!

I like the louvres - at least you have something that makes the car visually different (one of my regrets with the 75, it just looks like any XKR)

I would like to see the hood in person. It takes me back to the XKE style hood which I liked. As to the performance seats I did like them when I first saw them but being that they were not cooled I looked more for the standard heated/cooled seats.

Stunning! Enjoy. Looks like you should wear a tuxedo to drive it.

Thanks All! Just ordered a wind deflector from Adamesh per many of your suggestions.

Absolutely stunning! You have a huge head tuner. Love it! The seats are killer and the combination is so modern and elegant. Sweet ride. Well done. Damn your making me want to trade my 2013 in on one--it makes my 2013 look dated. Now let it roar and enjoy it! Kudos to you for your selection. Congratulations! My 2013 is pictured below for comparison:

Default more questions on the new car

Besides the adamesh wind deflector, which is now ordered, do you all do anything in particular with your smart phone? i.e., do you mount it somehow or not bother? I would like to since the nav is not great in the car, and using Waze is the way to go for nav apps! So would like it conveniently stashed somewhere, not too mention for music selection from the iPhone?

I have no problems using the infotainment system. I find the nav works adequate for my needs. I use a USB flash memory stick for my music. You can download all of your iTunes to the USB memory stick. When using a USB memory stick you get access to folders and don't have to sequentially go through everything to get to the stop you want to go.

I recommend the smart top key FOB convertible top module from Steve (whiteXKR). This will allow you to remotely put the top and windows up and down. He makes great products for our Jaguars and is a smart fellow.

Thanks, good idea on the usb, I will just do that. On the smart top key fob, that sounds wonderful, I read quite a bit on it on these threads. Since my car is new, any concern if anything ever goes wrong with the convertible operation, the warranty would be void? What is the best link to order it from? Thanks again!

PM Steve, User ID WhiteXKR, I'm sure he will direct you to the right threads. I had a smart top installed in my old Infiniti G37 and loved the added functionality. Many members have been using Steve's design without a single complaint for the last couple of years. Every now and again someone comments on how pleased they are with the module and support. I can't see any warranty concerns. You may also find some youtube videos on it. Good luck.

I have the smart top with rear window controls on my 2012 vert. I have never had a warranty issue with my dealer. they think it is a very cool add-on. I heartily second DGL's recommendation. It may be the best after market device you can put on your final fifty jag.

And, yes, I had built a 7 lbs carbon hood for my Lamborghini in the past, including making the mold off the stock hood.
If you don't mind me asking, how much and where to get those parts made. I want to do the same on my 1969 Alfa Spyder 1750 Veloce. Thanks.

Congratulations Chris! That is one smokin' hot Jaguar. A real treasure being a Final Fifty, and right here in Phoenix! Guess who's getting the first invitation for a Phoenix meet-up? (Sorry Norri!) Your presence at an event like that will bring in many fans from around the area I'm sure. We have been discussing it in the SW Regional section for a long time now, if you've noticed. What a stunning vehicle, it would be great to see it in person.

I have one of those on my F-Type. Well worth the investment, transforms the car into what it would have been if the lawyers hadn't got involved. I use the remote open and close every time I drive it, and love that it can be programmed to raise the windows when the top is dropped.
