Here's an article on the E-Type Celebration Edition...
Several things don't match up with the car we're looking at: different wheels, lack of two-tone interior with spun aluminum trim. I suppose these could be different for each market, custom ordered by the original purchaser, or the article could be wrong. Anyway, here's Top Speed's description of the Celebration...
"The new Jaguar XK E-Type Celebration will be offered in a Black Cherry color only with a black hood and Tamana 19" Red Badge Jaguar Heritage wheels. The black paint job will be combined with chrome insertions on the front grilles, the wing mirrors, air intakes, and window surrounds. For the interior, the E-type Celebration will receive a unique combination of Ivory and Charcoal with a special "Jaguar Heritage" logo on the seat’s headrest. The seat’s covers are in hammered leather, while the inserts of the bridge are made of aluminum with the brand-new Engine Spin finish."
I am not sure how to 'PM' but the owners hand book shows the Vin Number as ********** (removed)
The Build sheet seems to split the Vin Number ********* (removed)
The details you guys know.. I am amazed.
All assistance is appreciated
Thanks so much
Bill

Reason: VIN removed
Thanks Bill, I have removed the actual VIN from your post, PM is Private Message, where you don't need to publicly post information that might be personal.
I checked the build data in Topix and in the EPC, there is nothing in there about a "special" but to be honest I would have been surprised if there was.
The car was built on the 29th of November 2010, the only thing that is a bit unusual in the build sheets is
Seat Pack = Luxury trim
SIDE DR TRDPLT-STANDARD JAGUAR (this is the treadplate)
Hi Guys,
I now have the vehicle home.
Stuart S...I did contact Jaguar Customer Service and Daniel Hofmann has been excellent. He has replied that the vehicle is listed as an XKR R-Performance model. He is seeking some more advise on the 'Ian Callum Edition' at the moment.
While inspecting the paper work I saw that (on an extended warrantee application) the original selling dealer described the vehicle as an 'XKR Heritage Edition'
This may make sense with the heritage badges(logo) on the head rests and scuff plates. I also now notice that the wheel centers also have the heritage logo
.
In the rear of the vehicle I found the jaguar branded suitcase in the spare wheel well. (This logo is of the leaping jaguar)
Thank you to all for your assistance a guidance with this purchase.
(Home from Melbourne (1400ks) last night...quick wash...blue slip this morning..registered and new plates this afternoon)
I wonder how many other "special editions" left the factory wearing Jaguar Heritage wheel center csps? I know of two, do far: (2) my 2009 XKR Portfolio and (2) Bill's 2011 XKR Heritage Editions.
My 2008 XKR Portfolio convertible has the Heritage wheel centers. They are standard for that edition, are they not?
Both 2008 and 2009 XKR Portfolio models came from the factory fitted with Heritage center caps, but the letters are black on the 2008 and red on the 2009. See my photo, above and: https://www.netcarshow.com/jaguar/2008-xkr_portfolio/
Probably not but it at least seems to serve a purpose and isn't a big slab of boredom like the basic one. I'm going with pre production that didn't make it past the bean counters.

This car sold before I got to go take a look, but I think I see that same vent.
At least you have non body coloured side vents! That is one of the things I prefer on the 4.2 litre cars. You can buy them as an accessory for the 5.0 litre cars so I may do that at some point.
That is a beautiful Jag, but I am not digging the Ian Callum decal on the side. Looks like an afterthought or hooky. Great color and Heritage touches make it unique. I am sure you could get that decal created/printed again if you removed it.
