He is going to actually plug in lap top to car and reprogram. He takes a base read of ecu and sends to viezu and they respond with a modified file. I actually had him fly in from Chicago area to NYC

Default dyno correction

Sorry, Just found it funny that "avos" commented on dyno correction on my thread but didn't comment at all on matt from Houston dyno thread and also he did not comment on maxima's dyno thread. Figured it was something he had against, me, my car, or the tuner I am using (mike from eurotoys) Came to find from a quick search on forum that avos has previously had some type of issues with mike from eurotoys which I really don't care about. Not sure what his problem is with mike, but mike has promised that I don't have to pay for anything if the tune doesn't work.

I'm sure your tune will be to your satisfaction, everyone has an issue with an different tuner here or there. My first tune was RSC and it was totally fake but I'm sure others have had better results.

I asked for no correction as a few other members suggested I do so. These numbers can all be a bit off as none of us are using the same Dyno and environmental conditions are different.

My car put down 481 rwhp in stock form with a "corrected" dyno. This number is very close to Avos's estimate. You can see the correction in the boxes in the lower left of the screen.

I suspect a corrected dyno number for Russduka would be in similar territory, considering both of our cars come with a rated 550hp from the factory. But of course it could also be off a bit because of the difference between dynos. Mine was done on a Dyno Dynamics and his is on a Dyno Jet.

Hopefully his end results will be in the "corrected" 550-560 rwhp range considering the sport cats.

Good luck!

I have nothing against you (how could I, I don't know you), nothing against the tune you choose (which isn't from Mike) or whatever, I don't care (really).

I have mentioned why I posted, nothing more nothing less.

My apologies if I don't examine every post anyone makes and comment about it, you measureup myself way to high, but funny in the sense what you try to make out of it. It's just not worth the space on this thread imho.

Default quick update

ran first tune on car and pulled 536hp and 496 lb ft. looks like 30 hp and 30 lb ft so far. waiting to cool car down and run with a more aggressive tune that was sent over from viezu. viezu was complaining that I wasn't on 4wd dyno that drives front wheels since we are getting abs, traction, and ediff lights and failure messages. will keep everyone posted.

We all get those messages, did you pull the fuse 2(maybe 3 I forgot) and 40?

Even on a 4 wheel dyno your front wheels still so the DSC thinks you are in a spin.

They wanted a 4 wheel dyno that drives front wheels also via a belt. I have a shop locally I was going to use. but there driveway is currently under construction and with only 4 1/2" ground clearance it will not make it past the pot holes etc..... I didn't want to pull any fuses. I wanted to let the car run with any restrictions that might be put on by any system running in the car. Will wait to see last run after car cools and will post dyno sheet. I was already told I don't have to pay for tune till I run it on 4wd dyno that drives front wheels also. im actually pretty happy right now. those numbers on a hot run seem pretty good. plus the power was up throughout the whole band.

See if he has the ability to read your CAN data and see where your boost is at as well. I was topping out at 11LBS with tune and 9LBS without.

Gotcha sorry I missed the part about it running the front wheels. I'd love to run the car that way as its a true number as I have a feeling something may be holding the cars back on the track but we shall see.

Those numbers will feel good on the street and you will notice a difference. I'm down 40HP stock from you so I had a huge increase but I'm sure you will be happy

Default pics of hfc's

not sure if they did anything for power but with stock exhaust and these hfc's they are worth the money based on sound difference alone

Your starting to see the numbers I expected with the cats, I see a 550 coming!

Just an FYI I got my best runs hot by about 10hp.

Russ, when you have a chance could you post a clip of your exhaust with the hfc?

Very Nice! Those cats are definitely worth 20HP as advertised.

Default Pre and post tune dyno chart

Here is the dyno chart I will be posting videos on you tube tomorrow of pre and post runs. we had about 10 runs in total between today and yesterday. Car seemed to be picking up more power on every pull. Im going to end up waiting a month or so and will go back to the same dyno and see what happens.

Wow, I would have expected a lot higher boost to make that kind of power. Are the CAN values accurate? Has anyone verified with an external boost gauge?

If that motor really does make 550HP with only 11psi, there is a lot of potential left to make more.

I'm sure its pretty accurate, and in line form what I've seen with stock 9:1 compression engines. You have to remember these cars have infinitely variable valve timing and the right fuel map makes all the difference in the world.. This engine might be safe at 13-14 LBS but that's pushing it IMHO without the internals being forged. They seem to be pretty stout engines as I don't hear of very many major issues with them. I know there are Neons out there running 20LBS with stock internals, but that's an anomaly for stock engine.

I am running 2.5 " diam pipes from the x-box into dual collectors on each side with no mufflers. Basically straight pipe set-up. Which HFC's did you use and where did you get them from?? Thanks in advance
