Lots of goodies in that auction. Might be more fun and suspenseful than Barrett Jackson.

TWO Superbirds? Hell, I've never seen even (a real) one in person.

Wow, will we be able to see the hammer prices later on? Very curious on several of the cars to see where they land.

Ah yes, the "DC Solar" scam.

If I had millions of dollars of other people's money, my car collection would look much different than this.

Who the hell collects old Fiat 500's?

Over 400 cars and only a handful valued in the six-figure range.

This auction will perhaps generate ~$20 million. Add to that perhaps another $20 million in other assets (property, cash, jewelry, etc.)

For a Ponzi scheme which was estimated to be at $800 million, and the hard time the owners scammers are going to be doing, this collection of cars looks like small potatoes.

I counted right around $6 million worth of actual 'stuff'. Most of the actual PRICEY stuff are the old Mopars. Hell, ya can't touch a decent running Charger or Barracuda for less than $50k, and some of those look pretty decent. The three Superbirds can probably fetch $1-200k each in ratty shape.
A guy I used to know, Dave Kindig (douche now though, since turning 'famous') charges $300k+ for a normal restoration/modification vehicle.

Been my dream car since I was in high school. Saw a couple at a local car auction a few years ago, think they went for $300-400k each, too rich for me. Been kicking myself since I saw one for sale along a highway in 1980, and didn’t check it out, cause fresh out of college I had no money.
Maybe I can get lucky here?

You guys must be youngsters . Back in the day the Dodge Daytona and the Plymouth Superbird were the kings of NASCAR. They were sold at dealers so that they could be raced on the weekend. It was short lived as they were so fast the other mfg's forced them out. A buddy of mine had the Daytona with the Hemi and 4 speed and he had a lot of fun with it. Even my Corvette was no match for it in a straight line. As I look back there were many cars that changed the industry and I was lucky to live in that era.

Yup, if were ~5 years older, I would have had the money (and the driver’s license) when those came out, and could have bought new for $2k.

I just don't get where the hell all these great cars and trucks end up at a auction. Are they seized? owners selling, or what, anyone know specifics?

"FOX" news? Wouldn't it be wrong then? Oh yeah, it came from Fox "NEWS" division, not the fox Opinion division... It's a shame that Fox doesn't rename their Entertainment 'News' as "Nutso Nuts Talking Out Their Butts" instead of calling it "news".

Makes sense would be from a high dollar government ripoff. Nowonder they went bankrupt spending millions on cars and other expensive luxury lifestyle things.

When did JaguarForums become a political opinion site?

It's not. That article was from the Fox (actual) NEWS site, not from the rest of the Fox blundering nincompoops.
Plus, I said absolutely zero anything political.
Fox itself states that most of their "news" reporting isn't actually NEWS, but biased opinions about current events. Their actual NEWS department is fairly competent.
