Default XKR Terraclean and Plugs Change

Hello Everyone,

Just thought you might like to hear about the results from my Terracleaned Jaguar XKR 2007 with 90,000 miles today.

I have a short run to work but 17.5 MPG still seemed a bit low and it was running a bit rough in the mornings, may be a coil pack on the way out but we will see if the new Bosche platinum plugs and Terraclean sorted that out.

They took emissions before and after and the results look amazing, will run it for a week and report on any improvements on the MPG.

I have attached the before and after.

Cheers

Andrew

It was well within emissions anyway.

Fuel trims will tell you whether it's running OK and thus its mpg is OK.

A responsible garage would have told you not to bother with any engine cleaning process (snake oil type or not) since the pre-cleaning test numbers were already excellent.

Any difference seen pre- post-, assuming it's legit and not trickery by the test operator, will soon be gone in the wind.

Save your money.
