hi everyone, I have a 54' xk120 that is hard to start in the morning when cold. if I put my hand over the inlets of the carbs (where the air cleaners would go) it fires up ,a little ruff but when it warms up its fine.

is the starting carb working, it gives the engine the extra fuel it needs to start.
Same as when you put your hand on the carb, it will give extra fuel.
