got a new old jag
hey guys, i have recently been tasked with getting an old jaguar that belonged to my grandmother husband sold. It is a 1956 xk 140 mc. I will add a few pics but I will share what i know of it. It used to be a sunny day driver untill sometime in 2000 and it was parked in storage. The exterior is in very good shape and so is the interior. I have recently started to find a buyer for it, and have so a few conversations with a gentleman who is telling me the car is valued at 15-40k dependng on condition. I have looked up the value on nada.com and it says the value ranges from 79-150+k. So if I could get some input from you guys who know these vehicles I would appreciate it greatly. Heres the pics.

Do you still have the car or did you sell it?
If you go to Hagerty Insurance they have prices and trends for collector cars.
For a 1956 XK140 it depends a little on whether your car is a Drop Head Coupe, a roadster or a Hardtop.
The 1956 roadster MC version for a #4 car, their lowest grade, which it means it's a daily drive with a lot wrong with the car is $60 k so from what you said it might be worth spending a few bucks to get it drivable.
