Odd Braking Problem XK140

H I have a braking problem with my XK140 FHC - still with original drum brakes. When first starting out the car pulls sharply to the right on first application of the brakes, but after a few stops, it brakes normally. What could the problem be?? Any advice appreciated. Duncan

Looks to me some oil/grease leak at the left side, after a few stops the oil/grease is burned away, breaking normal again.
Remove the drums to check ( starting front left )
