Default XK 140 5 speed conversion

I purchased an xk 140 DHC and plan to dismantle and restore it. I’m sure I will be asking quit a few questions as there is a tremendous amount of knowledge here and I thank you all in advance. I will start with two questions and I am sure there will be varying opinions. What is the best 5 speed gearbox that would require the least amount of modifications and best front disc break conversion.

I got the Brake conversion for my XK140 from SNGBarratt.
On my XK150 I converted to a 5 speed gearbox from Guy Broad ( The Broadspeed direct bold on version ).
For all gearbox conversions you need to go to a diafragma Clutch ( 91/2" ), Therefore redrilling the flywheel is needed.

Here in California and just finishing the restoration of a 140. I'm not a wrench, but the Tremec 5-speed was highly recommended (and installed), and upgraded just the front brakes to Brembo discs. I understand the Guy Broad conversion for the gearbox is excellent, but have heard of troubles with the Getrag. Hope this helps.
