Default Lower control arms II

I have finally gotten this pair done.

I have a left and right set of front lower control arms that go in the rear position. These are used units with brand new bushings and brand new ball joints already installed. They are packaged and ready to go. The pictures are what you will receive. The price for the pair is $449 and there will be a core charge of $200. If you want the pair without paying the core, send me a good pair of rebuildable arms and I will send you these. I accept paypal, check (although I will not send them until the check has cleared my bank). PM me for more info and shipping charges.

So, the total cost of the arms with the core charge is $649. Once I receive the old arms back, I will refund the $200. The easiest way I can think to do that, since I will take checks and ship once it clears, is to send two checks (one $449 plus shipping, the other $200) I will send the $200 check back once the arms are evaluated to be in good condition. I would prefer cashiers checks over personal checks. Paypal is also an option for the whole transaction although, I am not responsible for paypal fees.

I hope to be adding more arms and other items in the near future.

Good luck, you'll get 'em sold, don't worry. I do see spring bringing more interest, however, due to many cars being 'garaged' until then, meaning no maintenance until they're brought out. Hopefully, you'll still find a buyer wanting to prepare in advance.

Great price. I'm just a few weeks too late.

I know I'm a little late getting them together. My bad.
I do realize this is not the best time to get them going but, better now than never. All the XK's I know are garaged for now, heck, even my VDP is parked. So......

Just starting out on the ground for now and see what happens.

I happened to see a new XJL 3.0AWD on the delivery truck that had a couple of our rovers on it. I 'bout got emotional. I miss my jags......

Thanks. I keep seeing Texas Tech on your sig. and have been intending to share that I went there for a very short bit. Many many moons ago. I've got a bit of family that went there and some still live in Lubbock.

Ahhh, West Texas, I don't miss it one bit. i still have a couple clients out there, so I do return every few months for work. Tech is the only good thing going for that City. Can you believe my 17 yr old niece actually chose Tech as her college of choice next year? I've started a family tradition, it appears.

Surely it wasn't that long ago (...and I know, don't call you Shirley) I attended 1991-1995, stayed for 6 years after that to work, then moved to a more photogenic location.

im interested in the set. just need to make sure whether its the lower ball joint that is causing a very annoying squeaking sound from drivers front side. The sound seems to be coming from the control arm so I believe to be ball joint.
I will be in touch once I get the wheels unloaded and jack up to the control arm.
you just have one set I assume? I better get on it but its nice to know most of the cats are in storage except ours in Hawaii which never need to be put away

Yep, fall of '94. I was in the Ag school for the semester. Wasn't diggin it, pun intended. I switched to ME just before the winter break. I still have the ME kind of mind without the degree. Came back home and started fixing cars. The rest is history. I still have one of the letters that fell of the Bledsoe Hall sign on the building that my roommate rescued. I have good memories there and met some good people.

I will as soon as I have cleared the forum restrictions. I have watched this forum for a long time but I just joined today and my understanding is there is a few day period before I can access some functions. I don't see a way to PM so I assume it is due to the restrictions.
