Default '01 XK8 in current BAT Auction

Does this cat belong to anyone here?

Nice looking car. It will be interesting to see what it sells for.

I'd buy this.
My favorite color combo.

Chaos, it's got some desirable features for an xk8. Trac control, premium stereo. It has heated seats.

I don't see any control for CATS, it is normally aspirated (no supercharger). Two things I wish my car's original owner added. It does have 2 seat memory buttons, not sure but that may be an option.

IMO Not the nicest wheels I've ever seen and it doesn't have a leaper on the hood (only kidding - folks either love the leaper or hate it to the extreme.)

Besides good looks, and detailed mechanical history I don't see anything else except maybe the wind screen which anyone can just add to any car. It would be just in the way for me.

John

Its going to need $700-1000 in suspension work minimum if you pay people to do this- about $450 if you do the work yourself (new bushings, new Shock mounts, new shocks), if the balljoints are good

The nose is sitting a little low and from this Picture:

The upper shock mounts are gone (the crumbly orange and the non centered shock are telltale). This will clunk and wear out the inside of tires... probably why they are new.

Still an OK buy at $7500, but plan on another $2K to bring it back to dependable driver status, so don't go much higher, unless you love it.
