On my car there is a vac line that runs from right pass side fuel rail under the intake (clips in under the intake) to the TB. I want to replace it while I have the intake off. Will any old vac line due? Is the one jag put there something special to deal with the heat under there or will any old vac line from a parts store do?

 

I assume you mean the one running to the pressure sensor on top of the fuel rail?

The tube isn't anything special. Never had an XK8 intake off but on the R it's just a normal piece of black vacuum hose.

 

I figured it is just a normal thing, just checking as I am going to replace it. Figured a nice non dried out rubber can't hurt. I am NOT taking this intake bs off again, I am replacing everything under it or is blocked in any way by it, ha ha ha
