Default 04 XK8 front clip repair

Hi my XK8 convertible has some damage to the front end clip where the previous owner had hit something at the front license plate and pushed the front clip in. Now I have two small tears on each side of the front clip. Does it make sense to try to remove the front clip and try to straighten out the tears with epoxy on the inside or should I just touch it up a little with paint? Pics attached. Thanks!

The paint will not hide the crack for long. Remove and reinforce back side, then use dremel or similar power tool to open the crack and fill with flexible filler. I believe the supply stores have a special flexible epoxy or urethane material to avoid future cracks.

Good idea. Any tips of removing the front clips? I'm guessing there are screws at the top where the hood hinge is located.
