Just picked up the above XKR notice that when cold and under way car surges i.e. rpms go up and down about 200-300 rpm while pedal is held constant.
Goes away when warmed up, any ideas?
Also car has to be cranked longer then my 02 XJR to start, is there a check vlave in the fuel rail or in the system? It's like the fuel has drained back and needs to be brought back up before engine will fire.

Surging is a transmission/torque converter problem with the ZF6HP26. See the dealer for a reflash. It sometimes works, if not, then the torque converter needs to be replaced.
