I think this is the only one I've seen:
SOLIDO 1/18 8090 JAGUAR XKR DARK GREEN (3467300080908) | eBay
It looks to be the correct model, but the pictures kinda suck.

If I do my math close to right 95 pounds is like $125.00 US which is a great price if the guy repaints it correctly.
Most here have no clue what I do but for 13 years I have modified, repainted and customized 1/18 scale diecast cars for customers all over the country through my stand alone business. Yes, I do this as a full time business, yes there really is enough business for it. My point (also I am NOT offering my services here I dont need to drum up business) is that over the years while repainting diecast using first Dupont and now PPG products I can say the process (labor) and material costs to do it professionally run double what this guy is charging and he includes the car and shipping.
If I were you and wanted to take him up on his offer I would say ask to see some of his other paintwork, in detail. Find out if he is dis assembling the car, stripping it, priming it and painting with factory mixed color to scale or just masking it and using an off the shelf can of paint. Remember if you use real automotive paints with metallics on a 1/18 scale diecast car its going to sparkle a whole lot more than it should. I have my own PPG paint mixing system (in smaller sizes then a bodyshop) so I mix all my colors to scale.
Also ask if he will be replacing the Jaguar badging. They dont make little 1/18 decal sets so see if he will be able to replicate the ones on your real car. I created a unique way of making mine 13 years ago and its a trade secret but does replicate every emblem on every car made correctly.
If your car is a XK8 and the one he is selling is an XKR, ask him if he can fill and smooth the hood vents and grind off the deck spoiler to make it more accurate.
Good luck on whatever you choose. I am in the process of re doing an XKR convertible to match my real one and hope to have it done in a few days.

Get the AutoArt 1/43 version, although it's an xkr. I paid like $20 including shipping off ebay for it, you have to look for a deal otherwise you'll pay closer to 40 for it. On the bottom it says xkr/xk8.
've also got the Motor Max 1/24 XKR, steer clear of that it's junk though. Never seen the solido one, looks nice!

I will try to help anyone interested in doing there own to the best of my ability though.
I wont post the site here, dont want to **** off the mods, but if you search my name and custom diecast replicas you will find links to it.
Thanks for asking though.

I got a Solido version and it's not that impressive, certainly not up to the standards of a Danbury Mint model, but then it wasn't in that price range. I wonder if in the day, ~ late 90s, there were any higher quality coupe models. I suspect the convertible models and the XKs being offered today are much better but that's not what I am looking for.

I collect and restore or modify a lot of diecasts, and anything over $30-40 is normally a LOT to pay for a Solido car. They were poor quality to begin with compared to most other, and those with paint problems are often because of the metal mixture used for the bodies. Repainting isn''t a huge problem, but the car has to be disassembled, stripped, surface prepped, primes, SEALED, painted, and polished to be really presentable. I have done this on a number of my favorite cars, but it's very time-consuming. The "Fox" knows what he's talking about.
I actually was not aware that Solido had sold the XKR coupe, but it does appear to be the only choice in 1/18 from this discussion. I stopped looking when I found the "97" convertible I wanted (changed the wheels and the interior color a bit), so I guess I wasn't paying much attention after that. The diecast I bought around 96-97 is identical to my 1:1, but purchased and displayed about 13 years before I got the real thing. Oddly, I've done that with several of my cars.
