Default 1 yr anniversary of ownership

celebrating a year of jag ownership! Aside from a self-induced blunder while replacing a rear window regulator, it is a true joy to drive (daily driver). The positive comments and number of folks asking about it is unreal but adds to allure. Really enjoying the classic elegance and beauty of such a finely crafted machine! Thanks to the forum, the excellent moderators and members for sharing as that has eased some of the fears with the DIY efforts. Looking forward to many years of driving this beauty.

Sklimii,
Glad to hear you have come through your first year relatively unscathed and have not been put off with the many foibles of these cars.

May you have many years of admiring glances and trouble free motoring.

Congrats on your one-year anniversary. Our one-year anniversary of owning my wife's XK8 was back on February 3rd. Although she has put more than 22,000 miles on her car since we acquired it, I feel that I am still in the process of settling it down from the multiple quirks (mostly electronic) that are part of the ownership experience of these cars. She still loves her XK8 as much as she did the day it showed up in our driveway, so I continue to do what I can in an ongoing effort to "get it right"....

+1 on the congratulations.

I celebrate 1-year with the Blue Cat this month myself. After replacing the alternator & expansion tank, it has been smooth sailing (no jinx please) as a daily driver. Considering their age, these cars are actually very reliable.

Hope you enjoy many more years of ownership.
