1997 XK8 with 85000 miles
Hey guys. Im about to list my Jag for sale. Its in pretty good condition. The only problem with it is that the left front hub needs a stud and the paint on the two front fenders and hood, along with the 3rd brake light faded in the sun from sunny Florida. It has a new steel water pump, new alternator and two front wheel bearings. Its has ROH wheels. Could use new tires.Clean interior. A couple of scratches and one small ding in L/rear quarter panel. Any ideas on what it worth? Thanks in advance
Why do all 'for sale' cars display the passenger seat, not the driver's?
Sounds like a project car. I would suggest $3000 minimum, $5000 max to someone capable and willing to do all the work.

$3,000 would be on the very low end as I have seen many non runners and cars with known problems go for that price. I would say between 4,000 and 7,000 depending on how lucky you are and the time of the year you sell it.
Our cars are at the very bottom of their cost curves. If I were younger, and patient, I'd just put it in storage for twenty years. From what I've seen locally here in FL, my best guess would be $6,000 to offer. Take anything
above $4500.
above $4500.
