Default 1997 XK8 Cold Start

Ok I've been reading and studying to make sure the 97XK8 I just bought last a long time and making a list of everything I need to do and it appears this year had a computer problem with cold starts and it appears there is no fix. I read the part about the pedal to the floor for 4 or 5 tries, But wanted to know if anything else was available.

Thanks

I think the 'cold start' issue you refer to is more along the lines of 'don't shut down the car after a cold start until it has a chance to warm up a bit'.

The simple fix is . . . 'don't shut down the car after a cold start until it has a chance to warm up a bit'.

Jaguar's answer is to publish the 'petal to the floor' restart solution.

Ok, I can live with that it sounded like they corrected on later models.

Thanks for your help
