The battery was removed to charge and the truck closed
the trunk lock is seised and the fob is not working. the valet light is on
I need help to get the trunk open to install the battery

 

With no battery in the car how can the Valet light be on?

Spray some lube in the trunk keyhole and slowly work the key. I know no other way.

Hopefully someone else can assist.

I connected a battery to the fuse block post

 

+1 on lubing and working the key in the boot keyhole. If that doesn't work do a search in the forum and there is a thread for removing the license plate and reaching thru one of the bolt holes and tripping the lock with a small screwdriver. Upper left bolt hole if memory serves me right.

 

Just wondering, why can't you open the hood, connect 12 volts to the terminal by the shock mount and then use the remote fob to open the trunk? Hope that works for you, it did for me in the valet mode last week.

I found that the batteries in the fob where dead .
replaced them and progarmed it. I was able to open the trunk.
