Hi Jagophile,
I appreciate your warning and I’ll be sure to use your video as my guide!
I’ll let you know how I get on though it could be a month or two before I get the chance.
Cheers.

Default Pressure relief valve

Hi guys,
I finally received the kit from Gus, no fault of his for the delay, it was more of an issue with Portuguese customs….
Anyway I installed the kit today using the excellent video from Jagophile as my guide. The only doubt I was left with was wrt the installation of hose 1. The male connector does not screw in all the way into the pump. I assume that there is a lip to stop the plug from being screwed too far into the pump and this is what is stopping hose 1 from going all the way down. Can anyone confirm this?
The top goes up & down without any problem but most importantly without any leaks!
I’ll let you all know how it behaves over the next few months.

Hmm, what do you mean by "going all the way down?" Are you trying to bury the hose threads into the pump? No thread was designed for that. Is it protruding signifcantly more than that shown in my video? If it works and does not leak, I don't detect an issue.....

Hose 1 from video

Default Hose 1

Hi Jagophile,
From the image the depth of hose 1 into the pump looks very similar to mine. Which is a relief.
Did you use PTFE tape?
Cheers.
