I have taken the rear quarter window regulators out of my 2004 xk8 due to the cables slipping off the pulleys. I can't figure out how to retread the new cables. Can someone please help me with a diagram or instructions. Also will the complete assembly go back in from the window access hole.

Glad you are using new cables. They are cheap on Amazon and come with a new plastic spring holder that I highly recommend you use too.

I was able to put the regulator back in from the top but I did have to disconnect the convertible top mounting to get enough room to pass through.
