I have no idea but the Borbet Tiger Claw on a Cat sounds like a perfect match.

It all depends on the following:
  • Bolt pattern (5 lugs x 120.65 mm on the XK8)
  • Offset ET between 30 to 33
  • Rim width (between 8 to 9)
The recommended rim sizes are:
  • 8J x 17 ET 33 using 245/50 R17 tires
  • 8J x 18 ET 33 using 245/45 ZR18 tires
  • 8.5J x 19 ET 33 using 245/40 ZR19 tires
  • 9J x 20 ET 30 using 255/35 ZR20 tires
It seems to me the Tiger Claws you are considering may be too wide, however, it's possible that that offset could offset that discrepancy or make it worse. I'm almost certain it will require spacers. With the greater offset in the Tiger Claws, there is a chance the wheel may rub on the suspension bits. Maybe someone more knowledgeable on the subject could better guide you.

Anyone else fitted similarly sized rims with higher offset? Does the higher offset fit the wheel under the car more or push it out more? If I need spacers would 1 inch do the the trick?

Unfortunately I have no experience in the matter, but I would also like to know.
