i had a 1999 xk8 and had the dash modified to take a modern single din fitting sound system. i have replaced the car with a new one and sold the jvc deck i put in it. the modified surround is available now and i will give it to anyone gratis who wants to replace the old cassette deck item with something more modern, if they cover the postage, which will only be a couple of quid (UK).

hi, postage is about $5. i've attached two pix so you know whether you want me to post. the pink stuff was the moulding agent; you put the lipped side in first and then the rest slots into place. attached also a pic of what it looks like in situ.
