Hey all, so pretty much since I bought my Jag the only thing that's really bothered me is the stock headunit. Is there ANYONE out there who could fabricate a dashkit for to install an aftermarket headunit? How much would I be looking at? I've tried cassette adapters, dealing with CD's, I even had bluetooth installed for $200 but the sound quality just isn't there. Any help would be really appreciated! Here's a picture of pretty much exactly what I'm trying to have done.
Something must be in the water with all these stereo threads :-)
Before you talk fabrication, what head unit do you plan to use? If it's a standard 1din, I don't believe custom fab is needed as you can get the 97 1din console plate and the Nexxia XJ fascia for a nice look.
Thanks for the quick response! I actually was reading the other threads about the topic but couldn't tell for sure if the XJ8 fascia plates are in fact compatible with our XK8's? This is the one i found... Jaguar XJ8 1998 to 2002 Single Din Fascia online at Nexxia UK
