Is there more then one kind/model/style of rear view mirror? If yes, how do I know what one to order to match my existing rear view mirror?

YES - there are various options listed in the Parts Catalogue.

It depends on:

1. VIN range
2. Auto headlamp - Yes/No
3. Rain Sensing - Yes/No

It's a Jaguar. You can't expect it to be simple!

god luck with this one. Mine fell off the window, still worked but fell off. In my car you could not get a replacement attachment (the metal thing) from the dealer. NOOOO not like most cars where you just get the glue and reattach on your own. For my car you could only get the metal thing with the WINDSHIELD. WTF I did not need that. Just the 10 dollar metal bracket (round in my case) that glues to the window. I just ground mine down to a nice smooth level surface and put it back on, no issues since.

 

Use this link for mirror repair also as mentioned in that link Acura uses the same attachment for the mirror so see if you can call a salvage yard to find one to replace the broken one.
