2001 XK8 4.0 power steering pump replacement

Does anyone know where I can find instructions on how to replace the power steering pump in my 2001 XK8 4.0?

Hello did you manage to find out how to do this?

My PS pump is grinding like a **** so I think I'll have to replace it soon...

Hi,
I've attached the JTIS procedure for MY98.

It doesn't mention removing the fan shroud, but you may find it easier if you do - see how you go.

You will need a crowsfoot to undo the outlet pipe underneath (the one that obstructs the compressor). Search the forum on 'service position' for the hood/bonnet.
