For some unknown reason I began getting a beeping alarm coming from my dash. 1 minute after the engine is started, it beeps 5x in groups of 5, stops, then 10 minutes later does another beep sequence of 5, 5 times. Anyone have any ideas on what to check? In my manual it says audible beeping alarm is from a trunk or other compartment not closed but they all are. My "valet" button has it's own alarm, so not that. The only remote possibility I can think of is, my passenger airbag has never worked, so nothing new. However, the light above the glove compartment that comes on for the airbag when starting the engine, goes out once running. Is that light supposed to stay on if the airbag is not working?
