2001 xkr s/c tensioner bolt
Is the bolt on a 2001 xkr supercharger tensioner a reverse thread. I know the main belt tensioner is.
I'm about to change the bearings on the two tensioners and the two idler belts.
Simple job and should stop the belt chirping.
For the bearings you need 3X *** 6203.2RSR and 1X SKF 6303-2RSH/C3

Ok the bolt for the super charger tensioner is not a reverse thread but the tensioner pulley on the main belt is. I changed all the pulley bearings. You need a 27mm/30mm/32mm sockets for this.
The 27mm to knock the bearings out and the 30/32 to put them back in. They come out easy. To put the new ones in heat the pulleys to 400F in the oven leave the bearings in the freezer overnight and they just tap in easy. Then quickly cool under cold water. Make sure they are seated to the lip.
To remove the belts turn the main belt tensioner anti clockwise to loosen. When you put it back on align the belt on all the pulleys and use the water pump one (top) as the last when you have the tensioner at max anti clockwise. Start the engine after replacing all the main belt bearings before replacing any of the supercharger pulleys to check for noise.
The pulleys use 15mm bolts except the supercharger tension that is a 13mm.
When removing/replacing the supercharger belt use the idler pulley as the last/first to remove. The tension used a 1/2 square and should be turned clockwise.
