Default 2002 UK XKR Headlight Height Adjustment - Help?

Hi All,

After having my right hand main headlight replaced by a rubbish garage (don't ask!..) The level is way too low.

Behind the unit there is a black box which has a wheel that can be turned by hand. I have turned it, and it has adjusted the beam higher, but still not high enough.

On the same little black box, there is written "Adjustment Knob" with an arrow that points to said little black wheel and underneath that there is another arrow pointing in the other direction which says: "Adjustment Spindle" but I can't seem to find anything related to it..

Does anyone know if there is a more fundamental adjustment I can make to the headlight and then fine-tune it with the little wheel or is there something more serious amiss?! Also what / where is the spindle! Confused! Any help much appreciated..

NB. The lights don't seem to auto level (I think the model is too early) but there is a dial inside which adjusts both lights together in the vertical direction.

Many thanks all
Andy

I should say, by "inside" I mean inside the car, on the control panel, there is a dial which can adjust both lights together up and down.

Cheers!
