Is the 2003 4.0 engine a good one with no problems that the earlier 4.0 engine had? Tensioners ect. I have to replace my engine, thought I would find an 2003 and not have to replace chains. Or does the 2003 have problems also.

 

The '03 XJ8 is a direct fit for the earlier XK8 and has the metal tensioners and the upgraded cam chains. Best choice for a replacement.
