Hi folks - first post after several weeks of soaking it all up. You all are so awesome. I want to purchase a fuel pressure tester that will work for my vehicle (2003 XK8) and went to O'Reillys, Autozone, and Advanced auto parts tonight. Noone wanted to sell me what they had when I mentioned Jaguar. So - what is good and where can I get it from? Oh, and for any Brits on here that are footie fans - Up the Wolves

 

One day I was driving by Harbor Freight and went in and got one from them. I dropped it a few times but it still works just fine.

 

On 2003 or later XKs, fuel pressure can also be read electronically with an OBDII reader with real time data. This of course assumes the fuel pressure sensor in the car is working correctly, which may not be the case if you suspect pressure problems, since it is electronically regulated on the later cars.

 

I have received AutoEnginuity Scanner and will try this out!
