AK,

Are you getting the ABS light as well? If so, your ABS sensor connections may be losing contact. In one case, I ever so slightly bent the pins in the sensor, then very carefully re-seated the connector. This ensured a more positive contact. I've also used electric grease to seal the connections. It's been many months since I've had a problem.

I used to clean my sensors every time the problem came up, but then I realized that it wasn't the cleaning that made the problem go away (for a while), but it was merely pushing the connectors back on. Don't even bother to take your tires off. Just reach in there and push those connectors home a bit. If your problem goes away (for a while), you've nailed down the cause. Then just refine the solution.
