Any way to disable the Valet push button switch on the lower left side of the dash on my US 2003 XK8? I manage to bump the switch with my knee more often than not and find it a nuance to step out of the car to get something in the trunk only to find that the trunk is locked in Valet Mode.

I have the opposite problem, my knee hits the trunk unlatch.

The valet button is a simple switch. You should be able to unplug it from the backside. I doubt it is on a fuse by itself or that would be an option.
