2004 XK8 value
Been to see an immaculate 2004 XK8 convertible this morning, original owner from new, 37000 miles. Standard brakes and suspension. What's the collective knowledge on a value, please?
Thanks
Thanks
No nav - three gauge model (my preference thankfully)19in five spoke alloys.
At that mileage if everything checks out and you have service records I'd say 14K.. There's a lot of XK8's in Florida so I'd start with an offer of 12.5K and see where it goes.
What are they asking for the car?

Private sale and he's asking $16900. My thought was 13.5 - 14K but wanted to make sure via the forum which of us was not on planet earth
)Interestingly there is no service history available(it belongs to his elderly mother) but I have seen proof of ownership from new - supplied by a local dealer. More digging on the s/h before I bid though.
Its the silver one, right?
I saw the ad for it. It appears to be the same as mine other than colors.
I bought mine 18 months ago with 37K on it. Check out my thread for a good idea of stuff that you will probably need to fix.

FWIW, I think it is fairly priced. I would not sell mine for that price.

Thanks - I have a 99 at the moment and have worked my way through all the issues in three years of ownership - shock mounts, tensioners, replaced all the hydraulic lines with Kevlar reinforced, tensioners, rear mirror,ABS, throttle body, rear shocks etc.etc. and am a bit more prepared for this one. I'll allow for front shock mounts from my initial inspection plus all fluids and hoses on the car. If I do buy it somebody will have an easy time with my old one
