The window on driver's side does not drop when the door is opened. Dome light does go on. Window raises and lowers fine manually. Any thoughts of most likely cause?

 

Before looking into failed components, first check the limit switches are set properly. Sitting in the car with the door closed, hold down the window switch for a few seconds until you hear a click. Next raise it again by holding the switch in the up position until you hear it click again.

The limit switches need resetting every time the battery is disconnected or if the battery is suspect.

If this doesn't fix it, run a search for "window limit switch" for threads on failed switches.
