Default Cup Holder Removal from Arm Rest

I want to have my arm rest recovered, but my leather worker is not sure how to remove the cup holder without hurting it. I took a look and really am not sure either and would hate to break something. Anyone have a step by step for that one? Thanks!

Jaguar issued a TSB around 15 years ago to address the replacement of the cupholder kit (X300).

Another for the X308.

I think after seeing Sam's video I can take it apart and use some foam to stretch out those wrinkles!

Sam, can I use about half the foam you did and still stretch out the wrinkles? I don't need quite that much padding.

Thanks Steve. Got it all apart and headed to the leather shop. Will probably just have them add some foam.
