Default 2005 XK8 ABS sensor wire harness replacement

Hi guys, I am getting C1145 which points out to front right wheel sensor open circuit....according to the reading in this forum it's most probably my wire harness...because it's intermittent.

So is there an instruction on how to replace it... I know it's just plug and play but it's better if there's an instruction somewhere.

Yes it is plug and play but if it is intermittent then try cleaning the sensor first and the connections before you start looking at the loom.

May save you a few pennies.

You might want to check on availability also. From memory, I seem to recall reading on this forum that some of those wires were no longer available from Jaguar, so folks were fixing theirs instead.

I cleaned the sensors last summer...can't be that fast for them to get dirty again can it? well worth a try I guess.

You could also swap the sensors, left to right, and see if the error "moves" with the sensor, or stays put with the harness.
