Thumbs down Wheels for XK8 4.2 2005

I'm considering fitting 17" rims to my XK8 to make for more comfortable long-distance motoring and have been looking at the 'Revolver' pattern. I have seen conflicting reports over whether or not they will fit my car. Can anyone advise me before I shell out?

Cheers. John

I would be astounded if they didn't.

Only reason they would not fit is if you have the Brembo brakes, which should be a pretty rare option on an XK8.

I think the bolt spacing changed around 2002/2003 MY - the old style revolvers are 5x120.65. The newer models are 5x105 so you would need adapters

Bolt pattern didn't change until the X150. All X100s had the 5x120.65 through the end of the run.

+1. Jagaur changed them on the XJ when the X308 was discontinued and replaced with the X350 in 2003-04. However, they stayed at 5 x120.65 throughout the X100 run, until the X150 was introduced in 2006-07.
