Default 2005 XKR Mass Air Flow Sensor

I have replaced the mass airflow sensor 3 times, and it keeps giving me the same code, replaced the filter as well. Runs fine for a day or 2 then performance issue and engine light. Any ideas

Bad connector. Can you wiggle the wires going into the connector and have the rpm change ?

Check to see if there are holes in the intake tube? I know when I was having issues that I thought it was the MAF sensor but it actually turned out to be holes in the intake tube

Check integrity of connector first. If that is OK, then, as Stran0020 suggests, it could be un-metered air getting into the intake pipe.
Some leaks are impossible to see and difficult to hear (especially if they are in the concertina type expansion part).
To be sure, your best option, is to remove the intake pipe from the car - between MAF sensor and Throttle body. Then block one end and fill with water. Observe for water leaks which will usually reveal compromised air-tightness.
If all good, then ensure the pipe is dry before refitting !.
