2008 Special Edition Jaguar - XKR-S
Apparently, announced at the Geneva Auto Show there was a 2008 XKR-S on display. And the announcement was that 200 of these vehicles would be produced for the UK. I have heard that 4 of them made their way to the U.S. that year.
Does anybody know anything about these? I think I saw one on the road, looked it up and saw that it was indeed an XKR-S and it was a 2008. And the owner mentioned it had 550 horsepower.

My wife and I saw one coming through Salisbury a silver Coupe months back. she loved it and has been looking at Coupe's ever since. Just the "S" after XKR was the only external difference I could see. He would not stop and I guess we did look a little nutty, two old people jumping up and down in a F150, (REDNECKS).

There were a few examples of an XKRS built in 2008. Many upgrades but power was the same 420hp as the regular 4.2L XKR.

The 550hp model didn't come until the 5.0L.

Thanks. I have spoken to someone who claims to have one of them. I am interested and asked to see the paperwork. Still waiting.
