In general, I don't either. But I went to the intro of the F type last week and that impressed me, particularly the interior and the sound of the 380 hp V6. The seats were very comfortable. I would take it over the Maserati. They had a new XK there, also, and I couldn't believe the orange peel in the clear coat.
But I still prefer the lines of my XK8.

I miss the previous generation Jaguar designs from Geoff Lawson. It's a shame he passed away so young. It would have been interesting to see how he would have translated the next generation Jag designs.

I think Ian Callum has been around too many Aston Martin's and Lexus'.

In my opinion, the previous generation XK8 (1996 - 2006) from Geoff was one of the most beautiful Jag's ever produced. I like it even more than the iconic E-Type. A topaz gold one // convertible.

Agree with brown robin
Did not know about the passing of the designer
But the lines and look of my 99 i believe have it
I have a convertable but think the coupe is the nicest
All I get is thumbs up from all types of people
Time well tell in design
All good designs stand the test of time
Certain cars. airplanes, even toasters just transcend pop culture and the time they were created in
Believe the generation I have is one of those designs but well who knows but it is holding up quite well and the design is now getting old as I am (haha)
I am so glad it does not have a digital dash (haha) actually it does but at least it looks analog ( and I got wood lol ) !!!!!
