deadboy, did you download the JTIS or look in the FAQ thread for the XK8-XKR subsection for parts list diagrams available to all? The files of scanned microfiche are more thorough than the general electronic parts catalog. The JTIS will also have figures that identify the location of the knock sensors. Picture is worth a thousand words and all that....

 

They are in the same place as the 4.0, in the V about half way along from the front just under the inlet manifold.
