check engine light, abs, and stability lights are on and the lcd reads gearbox failure. that trans really slips and makes a clunk to engage. goes into reverse fine though. I'm hoping is something just electrical, the car worked properly two times since this happened for about 1 minute then the light came back on with the slipping. Any ideas? I'd had to buy a new trans if I didn't need too. anyway to by pass anything to make it work?
