When I got my Jag about a month ago it had a "no-name" power amp installed that was the cause of my battery going dead every couple of days. I bench checked it and its fried and always drawing 2 amps. They had cut the wires to the original plug to the HK amp to hook it up. Otherwise the rest of the sound system looks like a stock upgrade with the cd unit, door tweeters, dash mids etc. So I just got a used original HK amp for $30 so I can at least have some sound until I can afford to replace everything later. They left the old plugs there and all the wires but one were easy to patch back in. One of the 2 plugs that goes to the HK amp has had a wire/pin removed and is just hanging there. There are only 2 open holes in the plug so there is a 50/50 chance of getting it wrong.
So, the question is does anyone have a wiring diagram for the upgraded stereo or a picture of the plug so I can see where the wire goes back into?

I guess I can just open up the amp and see if its obvious where it goes as the other pin is likely unused.

Thanks, it was just a squeaker negative wire. Now to go try it out and hope there are no more surprises left by whoever installed the last amp.
