Got the 97 runnign again, computer rebld. Well washer fluid was not full, no warning light, but I topped it off now I have a washer fluid low light. I found out tonight that if I hold down the button on the end of the lever to make it squirt, if I hold it for awhile the warning will go away for a bit and the washers work right. Then the warning light comes back on then it gets odd again. If I then hold down the button to make them squirt for a bit eventually the light goes out and the wipers will work again. REALLY odd. Is there a friging module on the washer squirter operation? This does not seem like jsut a bad sensor in the tank. Is this tied into the main computer of the car in any way???

 

while the low washer fluid light is on the option to push the button on the end of the wiper stalk to get a quick squirt and 3 strokes does not work. wipers do not move but it squirts. If I hold the button down for 11 seconds then the warning light goes out. and the quick wipe works but the warning light comes right back on in like 4 seconds. then same issues all over again!

 

Anyone? Seems odd this has acted up right at the time my ECM was just reblt. I would think that some like the windshield wiper cleaning sys is run via that damn PUTER!?!?!?!?

 

NEVERMIND. I never had a car where the washer fluid light comes on before it is actually EMPTY. HA HA HA. It was just low from me running the light washers. HA HA
