'97 XK8 - retrofitting cd changer?
In my search for a good XK, I stumbled on a nice 8.
However, when I asked the salesman over the phone if he could look in the boot for me to see if the car has a cd-changer, he couldn't find it. Said there were some plugs dangling around though.
Now, assuming the worst case scenario; the car never came with a premium sound system.. Would it be possible to just find a cd-changer and retrofit it? Or would the non-premium system not even accept the addition?
What are my options? Obviously, just a tapedeck is unacceptable.

CD changers were optionally fitted to the standard sound system too, not just premium systems.
I am not sure however if the metal changer/amp housing will be in place if the CD changer was not specified at assembly. All wiring shoud be in place to retrofit though.
