Tach will quit working while driving. Transmission will no go to low gear and if you put car on park the shifter will not come back out. . You shut car off and wait a few minutes it tach will work and will come out of park again

Do you *just* lose tacho, or speedo and engine temp as well plus an assortment of warning lights ? If so, it may be a CAN issue (the network that connects various modules and allows them to talk to each other). If not, then maybe a loose connection within the instrument module ?
The CAN runs through the gear select ("J Gate") module which is why the release solenoid is involved.

 

I just lose tach and engine temp gauge. . Speedometer keeps working. .
