left car too long without running; battery very low; charged up battery; would not start; disconnected negative battery connection (read somewhere that this would 'reset' the car / computers). This worked. Car started and ran fine.
Left too long again (only about 4 weeks so maybe battery not as new as I think - about 2 1/2 years). Have charged up battery and unhooked negative cable as before but car will not start. Turns over like crazy but no joy.
Car has only a little over 50k miles so used very little; almost none in winter.
Feel that if I can get it started and drive it a little and start running it every week might be ok.
